This app is designed to connect and expose players to new opportunities, possibly in a new club, city, country. It also exposes clubs and scouts to new talented players that can improve a team’s dynamic on and off the field. All users have the option of using the VRFD app for free. However, users will be restricted to using all VRFD app features.

Players
Player users can select their sport of choice (rugby league and rugby union). Players will then select their field position they are confident in playing (can be multiple). Next, the players location, state, region, postcode. The age and gender of the player is mandatory. To complete the players profile, the player must upload a profile photo of himself/herself, and a highlight photo or video must be uploaded to their media photo. Players can instantly post multiple photos and videos of game highlights.

A player can view positions that apply to their profile (field position, age, weight, sport) on their feed. A swiping feature allows you to decline or apply for a clubs or scouts vacancies/applicable positions.

Once applying for a position, player users will have an automated message sent to the club owner or scout. If the club owner or scout accepts the application or would like to know more about the player, club users or scouts can start the instant messaging feature.

Ultimately, clubs and scout users can accept all applicants and player users can follow the description on the open position post, if there the club or scout has provided trail or training details.
Players will be able to create a match calendar for other premium club/scout users to view. This includes the location/time/date of the players next match.

The player has the option to accept or decline offers.

Clubs
Club users will be provided with an account that will need to be verified by VRFD admin to ensure the club user is a member of the club board (president, vice president, treasurer, coach, secretary). Through a verification email. 1 VRFD club account per club per sport (rugby league or rugby union). Club user admin will need to provide contact details, personal details (name, age, gender), the location of the club & club website.
Premium Club users can create a job application/ vacancy that can be designed as specific or broad depending on the need of the club. This includes the position, age/weight range and experience. The job post can include instructions for an applicant or a general description of the club and offers. Once posted the VRFD app filters to find all the players that meet the requirements needed for the open position.
The swiping feature will allow the club to accept or decline applicants on their feed, also view the players profile. If the player has applied or not applied to a job application, the club user can shortlist that player. When shortlisting, an automated message will be sent to the player to inform the player has been shortlisted by a club.
Only premium club users can start instant messaging to players.

Scouts
Scout accounts will be verified by their emails on their accreditation profiles. This will be verified by VRFD admin. 1 VRFD scout account per sport (rugby league or rugby union). Scout user will need to provide contact details, personal details (name, age, gender), scouting company and website.

Premium scout users will be able to shortlist players and instant messages.
